Delta Clipped Wings, Inc. was established in 1957. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of
retired and active flight attendants who have completed 20 years or more of service.
Delta Clipped Wings activities are scheduled from September through June with a summer break
during July and August and include:
* Monthly luncheons from September through May and an annual bus trip in June. * An annual fundraiser benefiting the following non-profit organizations: CHILDHOOD CANCER
- CURE Childhood Cancer ~ CURE is dedicated to conquering childhood cancer through
research, education and support of patients and their families.
- The Breast Cancer Research Foundation ~ an organization dedicated to achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer by providing critical funding to leading medical
centers worldwide for research, and increasing public awareness about good breast
health. A minimum of 85 cents of every dollar donated goes to these programs.
- Ladies Day Fund, Inc. ~ LDF assists both active and retired Delta flight attendants who are in need due to a catastrophic illness or life event.
- Noah's Ark Animal Rehabilitation Center and Children's Care Homes ~ an organization committed to providing for abused, abandoned, or neglected animals and licensed for
residential care for children from birth to 18 years old. Their unique program brings
children and animals together through onsite therapy programs that help both to
experience healing and regain trust."
* Provides personal assistance to Delta Clipped Wings members through "The Delta Angels." * Publishes an annual member directory as well as a monthly newsletter.
