Our Charities

As a 501(c)(3), DCW hosts an annual spring charity event in Atlanta, GA to support our four charities.  Our fundraiser includes a silent auction and raffle featuring products and services donated by our community business supporters and friends.  Each donation is displayed and identified during our event, acknowledged in our monthly newsletter to our 750+ active members and supported by a tax deductible receipt.  Our success is based on the generosity and support of friends and businesses.  All proceeds are distributed to the following named charities:

IMPORTANT NOTICE:  Effective at the end of 2018, Ladies Day Fund, Inc. (founded in 1998 by Carole Lovelace) will be "closing their doors" after raising close to a half a million dollars to aid active and retired Delta Air Lines flight attendants in need. As of October 24, 2018, DCW will no longer accept donations to Ladies Day as requested by Carole.

Atlanta Humane Society's Adoption Program for Military Veterans ~ A program initiated by the Atlanta Humane Society to thank Veterans for their service by providing free adoptions to them ~ http://atlantahumane.org/petsforvets

The Breast Cancer Research Foundation ~ An organization dedicated to achieving prevention and a cure for breast cancer by providing critical funding to leading medical centers worldwide for research and increasing public awareness about good breast health.  A minimum of 85 cents of every dollar donated to BCRF goes to these programs ~ https://www.bcrfcure.org
